In Support of The Arizona Immigration Law

I am reluctant to opine on the Arizona immigration issue that is raging on the news and in the blogosphere because I too am an immigrant, not-with-standing the fact that I came here legally. It is misguided to call Arizonians who enacted this law rascist when we refused to see that it was borne out of the recent murder of one of their residents-Yet, in all the debates, no one has stopped to pay any sympathy for the murdered man-is it because he was white, and therefore, he shouldn't garner any sympathy? What of the young child he left behind? The truth is that Arizona is in debt by the tunes of billions, mostly borne out of the cost of illegal immigrants; lest we forget the rampant crime and kidnapping carried out mostly by illlegal immigrants-and note that the operative word is "illegal." California is now an economic basket case because of its opened border posture. Has anyone looked at how restrictive Mexico is in preventing other immigrants from poorer, neighboring countries from entering its border? For far too long our Mexican brothers and sisters have jumped the line to gain access to America at the expense of other immigrants who were here longer than they have. We are always told about how "hard-working" and a sense of a work ethic Mexicans have--so too are immigrants from the Caribbean and elsewhere. In our ignorance, some of us are even comparing the Arizona law to that of Nazi Germany; in my reading of history, the German Nazis took the Jews to Concentration camps where six millions of them died-are we really equating this Arizona law to that of the genocidal edict of Hitler? The cornucopia that allowed us to ravenously feast is no longer available in America; our treasury is empty and we simple cannot afford it. I see all these wealthy athletes and movie stars saying how racist the law is...perhaps Arizona can send them the bill it cost borne out of the illegal alien problem..... We are facing the advent of Islamic jihad where bin Laden and his cahoots are always probing for a weakness to gain access...and once again, our federal and state treasuries are empty...and, notwithstanding what is written by Emma Lazarus on our Statue of Liberty, which states in part, "...The hurdled masses yearning to be free...," the reality is said masses cost too much....

THE BLACK COLLEGE ATHLETE

There are some college coaches who are berating black college athletes for leaving college early to pursue lucrative, professional, sports contracts-mind you, most of these athletes were born into abject poverty...and make no money while attending college. The grating irony is that some of these same coaches who are criticizing these black athletes for leaving college early are literally making millions off these kids backs. I am a man who has a GED for a high-school diploma, yet managed to go to an accredited law school and maintained a seventy five average...coupled with what amounted to authoring a dissertation, which enabled me to graduate. I say this not to boast, but to show that I know the import of getting an education; but I would have made the same choice for the money if I too were gifted with playing football or basketball. In America, we have "March Madness," the college basketball competition, which generates billions of dollars to be shared among the competing colleges-note that over seventy percent of the athletes generating this money bonanza are black...providing monies for these colleges, most of them which never wanted blacks to attend them before the 1960's Desegregation edicts. So next time you hear and see some college coach speaking out about how terrible it is for black athletes for not staying in college, ask them if they share the millions with said black athletes that these coaches and their families so lavishly enjoy-of course, these coaches will tell you that they earned all these millions due to their coaching skills. Perhaps, we should confiscate all the monies Britney Spears, Stevie Wonder, the late Michael Jackson...and countless scores of performers, who all made millions while still children--somebody tell me the difference between these "child" entertainers and these gifted black college athletes.... There is no better understanding of George Orwell's novel, 1984, when he wrote, "freedom is slavery"...when the reader simply juxtaposed the typical black athlete disposition in these United States. Incidentally, see you next year, North Carolina (basketball team).

Seeing Israel As An Enemy

When I was a boy in Saint Kitts, I had dreams of grandeur about making it to these shores...so much so that I would pepper my grandmother to tell me what she knew of America. I recalled then she would remind me that America's greatness was divine in nature due to its assistance to Israel. It was easy for me to accept that explanation then and now, like grandma, because I too believed in traditional Christianity (See Genesis Chapter 12 and verse 3). This is apparently not the same sentiment, culled from the Divine edict or otherwise, share by President Obama. In Washington, Israel, our staunchest ally, is being treated like a devout, rabid enemy because the Israelis dare build 1,600 settlements in East Jerusalem--Imagine, someone dictating to President Obama to stop building houses in Washington, DC. That is what we are telling Israel to do because we do not want to offend the Palestinians who wants Jerusalem to be their Capital. The situation in Israel vis-a-vis the Palestinians is akin to squatters living on your land and then although you are willing to share your land...they in turn...want it all. I supposed we should give Mexico back Arizona, California, and Texas....what makes their claim to these states different to what the Palestinians are trying to do to the Jewish people. Why stop there; Russia could make a claim that selling Alaska to us for a mere six million, probably the worst real estate deal in the history of such deals, to then Secretary of State Seaward was so a bad...that they want it back. Perhaps too, the Dutch who sold America the Virgin Islands for 25 million should also reneged...citing the pittance that they received for those islands. And what of the Louisiana Purchase from the French for 15 million or so-a deal that took place because Napoleon was getting his butt kicked down in Haiti. I say to Israel do not trust the Obama Administration in this matter nor in matters of its security for it is very obvious where the administration's loyalties lie. We are told by the president that he spent 20 years in the church of Jeremiah Wright...perhaps he never read Genesis 12:3...then again, Wright preaches a bogus, perverted gospel call Liberation Theology.

LOONS IN BOTH HOUSES

We have been subjected for the past couple of days to Democrats being front and center decrying how Republicans are fostering death threats against them for passing the controversial health care reform legislation. Democrats are acting as though only they are being threatened....As I write, Eric Kantor's office was shot at...and he just happened to be a Republican. There are loons in both parties and this issue is not partisan nor should it be. Should the Republicans have blamed the Democrats for Assasination attempts on President Nixon, Ford, and Reagan, and moreover, the successful attempt on President Lincoln. Are we to believe that President Bush, Karl Rove, and Secretary Rice received no death threats during their respective tenures...of course not, they simply chose not to make them public. This is the nature of the job of being a politician or a celebrity...where loons will try to do harm for whatever reason. Simply because you oppose health care reform or President Obama's policies, does not mean that you are a racist. Republican did not blame the Democrats for those who vehemently opposed President Bush nor should the loons who are now threatening Democrats be blamed on the Republicans....Shame on the Democrats for trying to make political hay out of such cancerous manifestations stemming out of our current rank, political discourse. Simply because your hue black or brown or that you happened to be Democrat...does not mean that you are incapable of racism or violence. I must have missed that part of the scriptures where the concept of "original sin" only fell on my white brothers and sisters who deemed themselves to be Republicans.....

TOPIC In THE NEWS

There are various newsworthy items which warrant discussion: (1) Let's start with the fact that the Obama Administration is actually taking credit for the relative peace in Iraq. When I heard this claim by Vice President Biden, I had to research how many times Democrats, including the current president, berated "The Surge," while admonishing then President Bush how "The Surge" wouldn't work. (2) Recently, Elton John, the singer, said that Jesus, The Christ, was an "educated gay man." I have said this before how I hoped that there were Jihad clauses among the Gospels to take care of people like Elton John for affronts and blasphemes against the Christian faith. Imagine if Elton John had shouted similar insults about anyone that makes up the Caliphate, the Muslim version of the Trinity--I dare say that Mr. John and his butt buddies would be be floating face down in the Thames River. This pattern of excluding the Islam from religious attacks is evident in the recent movie 2012...supposedly the year the Mayans claimed is the end of the world. In the movie 2012, the director have scenes where all the religious icons are destroyed, except, of course, those of the Muslim faith. (3) Gloria Allred, the fame feminist lawyer out of California, demanded that Tiger Woods should have apologized to the dozen or so women who made up his harem of lovers. It is becoming frequent where I found myself almost permanently with my mouth hanging open due to what is being said and done. I supposed that, Ala Miss Allred logic, the victims of drunk drivers should have apologized for being on the road sober or rape victims should apologize for dressing provocatively. I wonder what Tiger Wood's wife would have said if he had apologized to these innocents ingenues....And what of the two porn stars who made countless movies in the interim...they must have been traumatized due to tiger's infidelity. (4) There are some blacks still voicing dismay over the fact that whites are adopting Haitian children in need. In all these discussion by these so called caring black folks (Hypocrites), none has volunteered to adopt any of these children-it seems that they would actually prefer these children to stay in harms way out of some misplaced sense of racial pride-these people are sociopaths without portfolio...give them time, their psychoses will manifest. (5) Let us supposed that then President Bush, after a tragedy like the one which took place in Haiti, he had given $15,000.00 for the relief effort. We would have never heard the end of it from our biased media-of course that's because this is the pitiful amount President Obama gave to the Haitian relief effort....
